Remove Shortcut arrow from Desktop Icons in Windows XP

This is how to remove those ugly looking shortcut arrows from icons in Windows XP.
Start>Run
Type regedit
Navigate to the following key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile
Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
Reboot your computer to make changes to effect.
